Mother's Day is next Sunday, so I thought this very pretty and very easy Mother's Day fun fold card, with a matching gift box, would be fun to make.
Fun Folds are my favourite cards, and apron style fun folds are so quick and easy to make, that the WOW! effect they give is hard to believe.
The other card is layers of embossed cardstock and the Cute as Can Bee DSP, cut using the retired Countryside Inn dies (any layering die shape would work for this card layout). The borders around the cardstock layers are heat embossed with silver for a bit of bling, and the sentiments on all three projects have been stamped in Petunia Pop ink and heat embossed using clear embossing powder to give a coloured emboss finish.
And the little gift box features regularly in my makes. It is sized to hold a box of Dove soap or a lot of chocolates or sweeties or some lovely jewellery.
I used the gorgeous Bubble Bath cardstock and the very pretty Cute as Can Bee designer series paper for fun coordinated look.
