Getting Your Wishes from Your Wishlist

Did you know there is a wish list feature on my Stampin' Up! Store? And that you can use it as you browse through the store and the annual catalogue, adding your favourite products to your very own personal wish list as you go?

Well there is and you can! And it is super simple. You can even order straight from your wish list.

To create a wish list, click the little heart icon at the top right side of the screen in my online store, Stampin' Among the Gum Trees.

You will be asked to sign in. If you are already a customer of mine (or another Stampin' Up! demonstrator) you can login using your email address and password. If you don't have an account, you can easily create one by following the directions on the login screen. It's easy and saves you a lot of time as you are shopping for your favourite Stampin' Up! products.

Go to the Shop Products and as you browse you will see a little heart symbol next to the Quick Shop bar. Click on the heart to add that product to your wish list. You will be asked to choose a list. By default the first on to appear is called Favourites. There is also a link to create a new list of you want to.

So easy and you have a list of your favourite things ready for when you want to shop, and you ca do that directly from your wish list, just click add to cart next to the items you want with that order.

Finding, saving and shopping for your favourite Stampin' Up! Products couldn't be any easier!

Let's Recap May at Stampin' Among the Gum Trees

May flew by! And already it's the 6th of June! Is it just me or does everyone find the days whizzing by?

I couldn't wait for various reports to finalise, I've been on tenterhooks because I was right, May 2024 was the best month ever for Stampin' Among the Gum Trees!

Firstly, and most exciting I think, is we welcomed three new team members during May. These dollar savvy women recognised the Starter Kit special for the amazing offer it was and snapped it up.

We welcomed Allan, Maureen, Keren and Wendy to our team of stampers among the gum trees, and already we are having a ball sharing ideas, inspiration and encouraging each other.

Personal and team sales goals were better than last year, and that makes my heart sing when all I heard everywhere was May was so quiet, it certainly wasn't at Stampin' Among the Gum Trees.

Then I held my first ever Annual Catalogue launch and card buffet. What a fun afternoon! Lots of cards were made, and lots of extra kits went home. It was so much fun to showcase new products like the Round We Go stamp and die set, and show just how easy they make creating beautiful rosettes. By the way, Round We Go stamps and die bundle is on sale this month - take a further 10% off (bundles are already discounted 10%). That's a big 20% off this fun and very useful bundle. While everyone was here in my craft room we set the date for the July card buffet - talk about enthusiastic!

To top the month off, it ended with a promotion for me from Bronze level demonstrator to Bronze Elite, and I have you, my customers and team members to thank for that so thank you all so very much, without you I would still be a hobby demonstrator, stamping and creating alone in my craft room.

The next card buffet is on 28th July and you can book your spot here (bookings will close on the 14th) to reserve your spot.

The Beauty of Faux Silk

When I first saw this technique I fell in love with it.

The simplicity and the softness highlight the silk-like texture that gives this card it's name.

And it lends itself to the gorgeous new 2024 - 2026 In Colour palette so well.

This was the most popular card at my Card Buffet in May, with everyone choosing to make it and some buying extra kits to take home!

The secret to a beautiful faux silk card is the tissue paper - don't be afraid to scrunch it up good, then open it out and scrunch it up again. Repeat this is you're not happy with the wrinkles.

The next trick is to use a glue stick to stick the tissue paper to the cardstock. Be generous and cover the entire mat with the glue stick, lay the tissue paper down and gently spread it from the centre, being careful to not flatten the wrinkles - these are what give it the faux silk look.

Here are some I've made - I just can't stop they are so pretty!
