Cute Overalls to Welcome a New Baby

We've had a run of new babies recently, so this afternoon I sat down to make the cards and came up with these cute (even if I say so myself) overall cards.

They're a simple variation of the apron style card, made in the sadly retiring Boho Blue, and the gorgeous Bubble Bath and very pretty Lemon Lolly.

All three have had the fronts embossed, with the pocket on the Boho Blue overalls being scored vertically to add a little interest. The edges have been faux stitched with a Night of Navy Stampin' Write marker. The brads are the Industrial Trinkets from the Take to the Sky suite, and are currently on the Last Chance List for just $12. The whole suite is on the Last Chance List, $130.25 and both are available in my online store.

And again, I used the Countryside Corners dies to cut the arm and neck shapes. These are also on the retiring list, down to $39.20. These dies are so versatile, not just for cutting mats!

A Trio of Daisy Cards in Petal Pink and Silver

I've been going back through my retired stamps, dies and punches. The Daisy Lane stamps and punches are, I think, my all time favourite bundle. I use it often because it's so versatile, even if they are retired.

This morning I was in the mood to create, and the Daisy Lane punches were handy, so I chose Petal Pink cardstock and then went looking for a coordinating DSP.

I had some scraps of

I punched the leaves in silver cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment in silver. Punched the daisies from scraps of Basic White cardstock and used a blending brush and Petal Pink ink to lightly colour the flower centres in Petal Pink to match the card base.

The Basic White mat is embossed using the soon to be retired Countryside Inn embossing folder and I used the Countryside Inn dies to cut the panels.

Here are the cards I made this morning with just punches, no stamps this time.

An Easter Cross, No Special Equipment Needed

Making and sending cards is my jam. I love to create beautiful cards and send them to friends and family, here in Australia and overseas, or to someone I come across who might like a little snail mail to cheer their day.

Easter is one of my favourite card making and sending seasons, and this year is no different, especially since I found this stunning card design that doesn't require any special dies or punches, or even stamps.

The original design is by MayMay from MayMay Made It, and I am so happy I found this card, and grateful she shared how she designed and made it.

It comes together very quickly, so it's perfect for batch making, and it fits a standard  envelope for posting.
