It's my father-in-law's 90th birthday tomorrow, and I think that special occasion deserves a special card.
This is a fun, interactive card, inspired by the very creative Liz Shannon from Elizabeth's Craft Room and Ready Set Demo that I am sure he will just love.
It's a bit like him, special without a lot of fuss :)
I used Gray Granite cardstock for the base with contrasting Night of Navy for the reveal panel. They both coordinate perfectly with the fun Take to the Sky designer series paper.
The front die cut banners and the numbers are from the Birthday Celebration dies, while the stamps come from the Birthday Celebration stamps, a really fun bundle to have in your craft room.

Today's card is so easy to make, you'll be whipping them out for all occasions.
Pleated cards, in their various forms, have been around for years, and they're seeing a resurgence in popularity, so I thought I'd share this one as a part of my week of floral delights. I've CASED it from Patti Dolan, of P.S. Paper Crafts.
To decorate this card I used die cuts from cardstock and the beautiful floral gingham that is a part of this suite. I just love when dies not only cut stamped images, but images from Designer Series Paper too!

I shared my Valentine's Day version of this gorgeous chocolate box a couple of weeks ago, and today I'm sharing one for Easter, made using the absolutely beautiful Floral Delight suite.
Easter in Australia marks the end of summer, and the start of winter, so you'd think this gorgeous floral would be out of season, but Easter is also usually the last burst of sunny days and hot temperatures before the cold and damp of winter sets in, so it's just perfect for this project.
The bright cheery Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly give the box a happy feel, perfect for a gift (for any occasion). It fits a standard sized Lindt chocolate block.
Measurements: Outer card: Basic WhiteCardstock: (1) 8.25" x 9.75" (scored on long side at 4.5", 5.25" - this forms the spine of the box) Daffodil Delight Mat Layers: (3) 4.25" x 8" (front, inside right and back) Floral & Gingham DSP Layers: (3) 4" x 7.75" (front, inside right and back) White cardstock (1) 3.75" x 7.5"
